MODBUS RTU is an open serial RS485 protocol derived from the Master / Slave architecture. It is a widely accepted protocol due to its ease of use and reliability. Modbus can be connected as point to point or multi-drop network system.
RCM now offers the digital display with Modbus RS485 communication protocol (option RW3-4) and alarm output (option RW3-2 or RW3-3) taking flow measurement to the next level.
The digital display is a microprocessor driven instrument all process data and settings can be read and modified manually or through the Modbus communication link RS485. The 4-20mA input is built into the display to provide rate, total and accumulated total.
